What is SteamMarketRunner

SteamMarketRunner is a CS2-primary, multi-game service that automates trading on the Steam Community Market. You connect your Steam accounts, choose items and a strategy, then click Start trading. The system places buy orders, creates sell listings, accepts confirmations, and keeps market state up to date for you.

In short

You decide what to trade and which rules to use: price, profit, volume, and safety limits. SteamMarketRunner runs the buy → sell → confirmation → reconciliation loop on a schedule.

SteamMarketRunner is an independent automation tool for Steam Community Market workflows. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Valve Corporation or Steam. Automation is not officially endorsed by Valve and may carry account, market, and financial risk. Use conservative settings, start small, and use the service at your own risk.

People may search for a “Steam Market bot”; this documentation describes SteamMarketRunner as a configurable automation runner for your own Steam accounts, not a stealth tool or a way to remove account risk.

What the system does​

  • Buying — places buy orders at calculated prices, using one of seven algorithms plus your profit target, balance checks, and order-book depth guards.
  • Selling — lists available inventory items, accepts mobile confirmations automatically, and can undercut or reprice when the market moves.
  • Maintenance — cancels unprofitable orders, reprices drifted listings, and removes old listings when configured.
  • Account health — keeps wallet balance, Steam session, and inventory state fresh; it also tries to reconnect automatically when a session expires.
